Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of registered nurses to deliver a high standard of inpatient care in partnership with the wider clinical team, the service users and their family members/carers.
To support the named nurse/primary nurse in the assessment of needs for a group of patients and deliver their care under supervision.
To work within a team of nurses and other professionals who are committed to the delivery of a quality service.
To be an active participant in the multi-disciplinary team, assisting in the formulating of care plans and utilising skills to inform patient assessments and evaluations.
To contribute to the information recorded on the patient information system by reporting to nursing staff on patient’s presentations throughout the shift.
Shift Pattern: 08:00 – 20:00
Applicants are to be flexible as our shifts span a 24-hour period 7 days a week.
Applicants must have a satisfactory DBS and 2 satisfactory references and would require either experience or an interest in older adults’ mental health.
